On 22 September, our partner CECOMET (Centro de Epidemiología Comunitaria y Medicina Tropical), started in Borbón (Esmeraldas) the training of Health Promoters to start the field work of the research in this area.
The instruments that will be used in both the population-based survey and the cohort study with diabetic patients were validated.
