Lucy Parker, principal investigator of the CEAD project, presented to the students from Creighton University, USA, the results and findings obtained during the four years of the project. This initiative is part of the second immersion of Creighton University students in the Territorial Health Programme, a collaborative activity with the Institute of Public Health of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador (PUCE). With the CEAD project coming to a close in September, new initiatives are emerging that focus on strengthening research on chronic disease prevention in the communities of Quito’s southern neighbourhoods.
