The second workshop of the TERECO-Creation process brings together more than a hundred people in Quito.

Last week, we held the second workshop of the “Weaving Community Networks for Diabetes” (TERECO-Creation) process in two different spaces: on Wednesday 10 July at the Casa Barrial del Reino de Quito and on Thursday 11 July at the Casa Barrial de la Magdalena.

More than a hundred people actively participated in these meetings, analysing a series of issues related to type 2 diabetes and identifying various causal relationships between them.the dynamics used, known as relational flowcharting, allowed participants to visualise and better understand how the different issues are interconnected.this workshop is a crucial step in the process of co-creating strategies to improve the management of type 2 diabetes, strengthening social support networks in the community.

The results and findings of these sessions will be fundamental for the next phases of the process that will take place throughout this week.
